Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Sidequest mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the App.

Description of Service

Sidequest is a mobile application that provides daily micro-adventures and quest-based activities designed to encourage personal growth, social connection, creativity, exploration, and self-care. The App offers gamified habit formation through short, actionable activities.

Purchase and Payment

• Sidequest is available for a one-time purchase of $0.99 USD
• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store
• No additional in-app purchases or subscriptions are required
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Sidequest only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in any activity that could harm yourself or others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Share inappropriate content through any App features

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or share through the App (such as quest completion photos or notes). However, you grant us a license to use, store, and process this content solely to provide the App's functionality.

Health and Safety Disclaimer

Sidequest provides suggestions for activities and personal growth exercises. These are for entertainment and educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical, psychological, or health advice. Always use common sense and prioritize your safety when completing quests.

Intellectual Property

The Sidequest App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Sidequest and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App, to understand our practices.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Sidequest, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
